The Business Group Generation & Transmission (G&T) of the Nexans Group is seeking to strengthen its Project Management Team to accelerate growth and innovation. We are looking for a Project Manager (Deputy PM), Onshore to join our team in Hannover.

Your Tasks

  • Support the Project Manager in the field of Onshore cable installation, ensuring project execution, adherence to project time schedules, budget, and quality control in accordance with contractual specifications.
  • Take ownership of project execution, adhering to contractual conditions, customer expectations, and internal processes and profitability requirements.
  • Ensure optimal project execution, task distribution to subcontractors, risk identification, and optimization.
  • Support the efficient use of resources and organize cooperation between partners to meet internal and external requirements.
  • Regularly report to the Project Manager and support them in reporting to the customer in accordance with contractual agreements.
  • Act as the interface with other contractual partners within the project, ensuring a satisfied customer.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil engineering or similar experience in comparable positions.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Onshore Installation and experience as a project manager.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English.
  • Experience in trading and finance.
  • Excellent organization skills, proactive, self-reliant action, and flexibility in change management.
  • Strong quality awareness, leadership qualities as a team leader, high sense of responsibility, and knowledge of customer and market areas.
