Quality Assurance Specialist for Offshore Structures
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the topside and jacket construction in the fabrication yard. This includes structural, welding quality, dimensional control, weight, and coating. You will work closely with the Lead Yard Management, Site/Construction Manager, and other stakeholders to ensure that all documentation is complete and of good quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor findings and develop mitigation measures
- Coordinate site structural, welding, and coating inspectors
- Cooperate with Sub-Project Lead structural and the certifying authority
- Ensure execution of the project is in line with site manual and goal set for HSE, delivery schedule, contract specifications, and conditions
Requirements:
- International welding engineer with NACE II/III certificate and Coating FROSIO level 3 certificate
- Experience with stressed skin design of topsides
- Familiarity with rules and regulations applicable for construction of offshore structures in the German North Sea and EN-ISO structural, welding, and coating standards
- At least 10 years of experience with working on large steel construction projects on yards, preferably in a supervisory role
- Fluent in English, additional languages of advantage
- Willing to work and live abroad in a yard location environment for an extended period of time
