As a leading player in the wind industry and manufacturer of wind turbines, we are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician (f/m/x) for Troubleshooting and Maintenance activities in our Business Unit Service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Status and risk reporting to all relevant stakeholders
  • Performing scheduled service procedures on offshore wind turbines without supervision
  • Identifying and troubleshooting common, recurring, and major component faults on electrical and mechanical systems of the offshore turbine
  • Providing on-job qualification training, evaluating competency, and quality for troubleshooting procedures of individuals assigned to them
  • Performing unscheduled maintenance jobs
  • Developing advanced troubleshooting knowledge and skills on site with competent individuals
  • Leading small teams; accountable for the safety, competency, and productivity of Trainees, Maintenance technicians, and Contractors assigned to them for maintenance and troubleshooting activities
  • Keeping records, maintaining documentation, and reporting technical, safety issues, and difficulties to the relevant individuals on site/back office
  • Maintaining and following safety procedures as required by company policy
  • Participation in call arrangements for remote assistance
