Key Responsibilities

  • Status and risk reporting to all relevant stakeholders
  • Perform scheduled service procedures on offshore wind turbines without supervision
  • Identify and troubleshoot common, recurring, and major component faults on electrical and mechanical systems of the offshore turbine
  • Provide on-job qualification training, evaluating competency and quality for troubleshooting procedures of individuals assigned to them
  • Perform unscheduled maintenance jobs
  • Develop advanced troubleshooting knowledge and skills on site with competent individuals
  • Lead small teams; Accountable for the safety, competency, and productivity of Trainees, Maintenance technicians, and Contractors assigned to them for maintenance and troubleshooting activities
  • Keep records, maintain documentation, and report technical, safety issues, and difficulties to the relevant individuals on site/back office
  • Maintain and follow safety procedures as required by company policy
  • Participation in call arrangements for remote assistance

Requirements

  • Passion for renewable energy and a sense of the importance of leading the change
  • Presently working as a Troubleshooter or proven track record of stable experience as such
  • Sound working experience within the wind industry; in the best case, in the offshore environment covering all aspects of the commissioning phase and service activities
  • Experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance works on DD platform
  • Willing and able to work offshore in shift patterns
  • Willing to take Helicopter training and be willing to fly to WTGs if not already
  • Ability to manage administrative tasks in a structural and self-dependent manner
  • Strong intercultural skills
  • Ability to communicate (speaking and writing) in English
