Senior Data Analyst

You will play a vital role in the SEO team at Bauer Media Group, helping us to make informed decisions through data-driven insights.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Be the primary point of contact for all data-related inquiries within the SEO team.
  • Collaborate daily with the team to understand their challenges and incorporate data into their decision-making processes.
  • Develop analytics solutions across the decision-making spectrum – from hypothesis generation to monitoring.
  • Connect data from various sources, working closely with data product managers and engineers.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience in Data Analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex problems to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R, as well as experience with BI solutions (e.g., PowerBI).
  • Strong knowledge of statistics and application to business problems.
  • Understanding of the balance between pragmatism and accuracy.
  • Fluent English, with additional German language skills a plus.
  • Previous experience in online publishing and/or SEO is a significant advantage.
