Job Description

At adjoe GmbH, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our WAVE Data Science team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining cutting-edge algorithms for our ad network.

About the Role:

  • Conduct research and hypothesis testing to improve our bidding algorithms.
  • Build and maintain models to predict user behavior (app installation, retention, etc).
  • Drill into data from various sources to generate insights and discuss them with your colleagues.
  • Transform recurring analyses into KPIs and Dashboard Views we can easily monitor.
  • Act as an advocate for data-related topics in the company and become the go-to person in your area of expertise.

About You:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in the Data Science field.
  • Strong knowledge of Python, R, Scala, Julia, or similar typical programming languages for Data Science.
  • Experience drilling into large amounts of data coming from various sources – including AWS Athena, Kafka, Spark, Flink, S3, MySQL.
  • Great business understanding and ability to connect models performance to business KPIs.
  • Worked with deep learning networks in production environments.
  • Ability to dive deep into mathematical foundations and explain complex topics in a simple way.
  • Strong team player and enjoy helping others.
  • Plus: Experience in the AdTech industry.
