Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at 2557 GG GmbH Deutschland (FRA ZE). As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and food safety in our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve a Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO standards, including quality objectives, alarm and inspection plans, and quality control procedures.
  • Conduct audits and quality inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Lead the evaluation and implementation of corrective actions, and maintain a system for tracking and managing quality-related issues.
  • Perform and evaluate quality checks (food sampling) in accordance with HACCP/ISO concepts, identify vulnerabilities, and conduct stage inspections with the support of departmental managers.
  • Ensure the implementation and maintenance of the HACCP/ISO concept in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and update guidelines as needed.
  • Initiate, implement, and coordinate quality assurance measures.
  • Ensure compliance with food and hygiene regulations.
  • Promote the implementation of the Business Management System.
  • Identify and create monthly aggregated and operation-specific quality metrics, ensuring timely communication.
  • Advise management and leadership on quality-related matters within the scope of their assigned responsibilities.
  • Monitor and ensure unit processes for incoming raw materials in the food sector for the production of end products.
  • Evaluate customer complaints (e.g., catering reports/FACs) to eliminate error causes and, if necessary, initiate corrective actions.
  • Identify and rectify product defects, including food poisoning, hard and soft foreign objects.
  • Establish and maintain an internal audit system (including process quality, hygiene, food safety, and regulatory compliance) and a corresponding monitoring system.
  • Create plans and lists to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Coordinate external service providers regarding operational requirements for cleaning/disinfection/pest control.
  • Conduct and lead quality meetings/quality councils.
  • Take on additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Food Technology or Oecotrophology or equivalent.
  • Desirable: relevant work experience in a similar field.
  • Knowledge of process-related workflows, rules, and guidelines.
  • Fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken).
  • Empathy, teamworking ability, and assertiveness.
  • Planning, coordination, and disposition skills.
  • Willingness to travel, intercultural competence, and negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of numbers and results-oriented approach.
  • Knowledge of company-specific IT application systems.
  • Screen resolution capability.
