Job Summary:

Parker Stewart is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Specialist to join our team in Germany. As an EHS Professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general support and assistance to the Health and Safety Manager in implementing and maintaining our company's Safety Management System.
  • Ensure that site personnel comply with site safety and company requirements, including conducting regular site inspections and audits.
  • Identify training needs and report requirements to the project EHS Manager, ensuring that all employees receive necessary training and development opportunities.
  • Deliver Health and Safety Inductions and weekly Toolbox Talks to ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities and the company's safety policies.
  • Organize and chair Safety Meetings to discuss safety concerns and implement corrective actions.
  • Review subcontractors' Method Statements and Risk Assessments, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Assist with accident and incident investigation reports, ensuring that all incidents are thoroughly investigated and corrective actions are implemented.
  • Submit weekly reports to the project supervisors, highlighting any safety concerns or issues that require attention.
  • Carry out daily site walks to identify potential hazards and report findings to project supervisors immediately.
  • Advise and assist the site teams in drafting Safe Plans of Action, ensuring that all employees are aware of their responsibilities and the company's safety policies.

Requirements:

  • Relevant 3rd Level EHS qualification is essential.
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Experience working in the Construction Sector is desired.
  • EHS experience on projects within the Data Centre industry is desirable.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office is required.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and work well in a team environment is required.
