Strategic Purchasing Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Purchasing Manager to join the EUROGATE Group team.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of purchasing professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of strategic purchasing initiatives.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive purchasing strategies across all procurement categories, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Identify and analyze new national and international procurement markets, conducting thorough market research and analysis to inform procurement decisions.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements that meet the company's needs and drive cost savings.
  • Develop and implement supplier development programs to improve supplier performance and reduce costs.
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for large-scale procurement projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.


Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in a field such as business, economics, or supply chain management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic purchasing or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing purchasing strategies that drive cost savings and improve supplier performance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including SAP, and ability to analyze data to inform procurement decisions.
  • Fluent English language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to travel internationally, as required.
