Head of Strategic Sourcing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our strategic purchasing efforts at the EUROGATE Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, with a proven track record of driving business growth and improving efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of purchasing professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of strategic purchasing initiatives.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies that align with the company's business objectives, ensuring optimal cost savings and supply chain efficiency.
  • Identify and analyze new market opportunities, including national and international procurement markets, and develop strategies to capitalize on these opportunities.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Develop and implement effective procurement processes and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a proven track record of driving business growth and improving efficiency.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as required.
