Job Description

As a Product Manager at SSI SCHAEFER, you will be responsible for developing and coordinating the portfolio and product vision, as well as the strategy for all software products within the Business Unit PE. This will involve driving innovation and progress in our solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize product features and requirements.
  • Conduct technical interface discussions and standardize processes with external partners to ensure seamless integration.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for the development of machines and hardware products, considering software aspects.
  • Manage and coordinate the development of software products, including WAMAS Lift&Store and solutions from external software providers.
Requirements
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of software development principles.
  • Excellent communication and moderation skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience in product management or as a Product Owner is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of intralogistics and warehouse software.
  • Proficiency in MS-Office and other relevant tools.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
  • Logical thinking, reliability, teamwork, flexibility, and a structured approach to work.
  • Excellent English language skills.
