Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team and take end-to-end responsibility for our new Staking product. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the development and success of our product, ensuring it meets the needs of our customers while driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and services for our staking platform, implementing advanced staking strategies to optimize yield.
  • Make independent decisions about architecture, software design, and implementation, ensuring the security, scalability, and reliability of the staking infrastructure.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in blockchain technology, staking protocols, and decentralized finance.
  • Develop scalable and secure backend services and APIs using TypeScript, operating on the Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
  • Implement and maintain Microsoft Azure CI/CD pipelines to ensure the highest quality standards and continuous delivery of customer value.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to staking operations, backend systems, and staking infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain standards for software development, focusing on code quality, clean code, automated testing, and deployment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on blockchain and staking technologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as TypeScript and similar.
  • Deep understanding of various staking mechanisms, blockchain ecosystems, and node infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of database systems, API development, and microservices architecture.
  • Understanding of the regulatory landscape of crypto assets, especially in Germany.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for blockchain technology and decentralized finance.
