Senior Risk Analyst (m/f/d) Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Analyst to join our Risk Analytics team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in mitigating risk and ensuring the solvency of our external customers.

The Risk Analytics team is responsible for defining our risk strategy, its development, and continuous monitoring and steering. We are looking for a strategic thinker with a hands-on attitude who can contribute to our risk assessment and decision-making processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to a high-performing team of credit risk and analytics experts
  • Improve underlying data analysis and business processes to support product expansion
  • Provide risk insights to pricing requests and collaborate with internal stakeholders
  • Establish best practices for ad-hoc and deep dive analyses
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improvement
  • Collaborate with BI experts to enhance monitoring and reporting
  • Work closely with other functions, including Risk Product, Fraud Risk Steering, Data Science, and Finance

Requirements:

  • Proven track-record in data analytics, preferably in the payment industry or fintech
  • Relevant experience in credit risk management
  • Expertise in programming languages, including SQL and Python/R
  • Experience in international, agile, cross-functional environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Language: English (mandatory); German or Dutch is a plus
