Senior Risk Analyst (m/f/d) Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Analyst to join our Risk Analytics team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in mitigating risk and ensuring the solvency of our external customers.

The Risk Analytics team is responsible for defining our risk strategy, its development, and continuous monitoring and steering. We are looking for a strategic thinker with a hands-on attitude who can contribute to our risk assessment and decision-making processes.

The main responsibilities of the Senior Risk Analyst include:

  • Actively contributing to a high-performing team of credit risk and analytics experts
  • Improving underlying data analysis and business processes to support our product expansion in new areas
  • Providing risk insights to pricing requests and collaborating with internal stakeholders
  • Establishing best practices for ad-hoc and deep dive analyses
  • Participating in cross-functional teams to drive giant-leap changes in machine learning-based models
  • Collaborating with BI experts to improve monitoring and reporting
  • Working closely with other functions such as Risk Product, Fraud Risk Steering, Data Science, and Finance

To be successful in this role, you should have a proven track record in data analytics, ideally in the fast-growing payment industry or fintech universe. Relevant experience in credit risk management and expertise in programming languages such as SQL, Python, and R are essential. You should also be comfortable working in an international, agile, and cross-functional environment.
