Data Analytics Intern with Focus on Database Design

Your Role

  • Develop data loading and transformation procedures in R, SQL, and Java to drive business insights.
  • Support the development and maintenance of our analytical database to ensure data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Implement and monitor automated test runs to guarantee data quality and integrity.
  • Analyze and validate results using SQL, R, or Excel to inform business decisions.

Your Profile

  • Hold a degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics, data science, or a related field.
  • Be able to work full-time for 3 months with the option to extend in part-time.
  • Have a strong understanding of actuarial figures, such as IFRS P&L, PVFP, VNB, or other SII KPIs, as a plus.
  • Be highly motivated to learn new technologies and possess a hands-on problem-solving mentality.
  • Have profound knowledge and experience in SQL and R, with Java skills being an additional asset.
  • Be confident in using Excel and MS Office 360 tools.
  • Exhibit strong communication, presentation, and organization skills.

Students from outside the EU require a German residence/work permit.
