Job Overview

SAP, a leading provider of enterprise software solutions, is seeking a motivated Working Student to join its Global Cloud Infrastructure & Delivery (GCID) team. As a Junior Documentation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving documentation for cloud infrastructure and lifecycle management services.

About the Role

We are looking for a student with strong communication and organizational skills to assist in creating, updating, and maintaining documentation for our cloud infrastructure and lifecycle management services. Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Maintaining the Enable Now Document Management System
  • Improving overall documentation structure in Enable now
  • Creating process flows in Signavio – Level 1, Level 2
  • Creating and updating documents in Enable Now and Wiki – document existing processes
  • Identifying gaps or redundancies in documentation
  • Working on improvements of documentation for specific topics like Build Configuration Repository, Production Planning, Quality Management etc.
  • Attending Change Advisory Board calls with focus on documentation updates – do we have existing documentation that needs to be updated, new documentation required, support in location in Enable Now, documentation approvals etc.
  • Participating in process improvement initiatives – automation, analysis, implementation support, documentation

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
  • A current university student or student at a university of applied sciences
  • PREFERRED fields of study: Business Informatics
  • Computer skills: MS Office products, Confluence, Jira, Signavio, LeanIX
  • Language skills: fluent in English, German as a plus
  • Soft skills: interested in working with cross-cultural teams or individuals, quick learner, passionate, motivated, creative and self-managed.

This is a SAP global, strategic, paid working student position that provides students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. We offer a competitive salary of approximately €12 per hour, which translates to around €24,000 per year based on a 20-hour workweek. Additionally, you will gain valuable experience in cloud infrastructure and lifecycle management, as well as develop your skills in documentation creation and maintenance.
