Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement statistical metrics to measure and improve auction forecast quality
- Analyse auction mechanisms with a focus on game theory elements and optimal bidding behavior
- Drive RWE's auction analysis tools and frameworks, ensuring consistency and delivering bid strategy support for all technologies and markets
- Provide assessments and recommendations on auction mechanisms for regulatory interactions and effects on RWE projects and bidding behavior
- Support the strategy departments by assessing attractiveness of different markets and auction regimes
The ideal candidate will have a degree in an analytical subject, such as economics, finance, engineering, statistics, or mathematics. Strong knowledge of game theory and/or experience in auction processes is essential. The successful candidate will also possess professional experience in the energy sector, auction modeling, or related industries.
