Our MissionWe are committed to driving forward the expansion of renewable energy infrastructure through the development and implementation of cutting-edge battery storage solutions. Our team of experts works tirelessly to optimize assets across all markets, balance renewables, and trade short-term power algorithmically in an expanding geographical scope.
Our TeamOur energy trading unit is responsible for optimizing assets across all markets, balancing renewables, and proprietary trading. We have a highly technical team of veteran software engineers, leading AI experts, and power trading professionals who work together to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities- Take P&L responsibility
- Work together with our AI-experts on improving and expanding our deep learning models and bringing them to market
- Develop your own price forecasts for different markets
- Further develop our battery optimization framework
- Develop and implement algorithmic trading strategies – from mid-term quant strategies to high-frequency trading
- Work closely with our software and data engineers in product owner roles on a project basis
- Participate in trade ops day shift
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual who is passionate about driving progress in a fast-moving startup company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer or natural sciences, mathematics, or economics, and experience in short-term power markets, preferably Germany, or other markets.
The candidate should also have extensive experience in deep learning methods, ML, or statistical modeling, and experience in asset optimization, including ancillary services. Additionally, experience in market microstructures and high-frequency trading is a plus.
