Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our Backshop team at REWE. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to the overall success of our store.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including bread and baked goods, and be able to make recommendations to customers.
- Contribute to the visual merchandising of the store, ensuring that products are displayed in an attractive and appealing manner.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve product knowledge and sales skills.
- Previous experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably in the food retail industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and credit card transactions.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
