Process Engineer – Offshore Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our Offshore Technical Support team at Siemens Gamesa. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our offshore wind farms.
About the RoleAs a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing technology transfer projects for serial product platforms worldwide. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that all technical aspects are properly handled, and production startups are achieved following our procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate Technology Transfer projects for serial product platforms worldwide.
- Coordinate all technical aspects of sending and receiving factories to ensure smooth production startups.
- Act as a point of contact for the Project Management Office and global process engineering department for technical aspects.
- Evaluate and escalate risks, and track milestone progress with the dedicated project manager.
- Identify process deviations and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support best practices for Technology Transfer and provide expertise in industrial manufacturing processes.
- Support tasks within Engineering Change Management and implementation of changes in production environments.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering with over 3 years of relevant experience in production or the wind industry.
- Leadership or project management skills with experience in it.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
- Creativity and ability to develop a flexible approach to changing conditions.
- High team spirit, excellent interpersonal skills, and effective stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive and navigate easily in a dynamic and complex environment.
- Good process management skills, Lean and Six Sigma qualifications preferred.
- Proven experience in proactive and self-driven approach to tasks and ownership.
- Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
