The Excellence Cluster Cardio-Pulmonary Institute (CPI) at Justus-Liebig-Universität Giessen is seeking a highly motivated and talented researcher to join our team. As a PhD researcher, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in the field of pulmonary research, collaborating with leading scientists and researchers.

Project Overview

Our research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying lung diseases, with a particular emphasis on genetic and epigenetic pathways. You will have the opportunity to work on experimental research, including molecular, cell biological, physiological, and histological examinations, as well as disease modeling using ex vivo human material/cells.

Requirements

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated researcher with a master's degree in life sciences or a related field. Experience in performing molecular and cellular experiments is highly desirable. You should have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and be committed to scientific research.
