About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental and Energy Management Auditor to join our team at TÜV NORD CERT GmbH in Essen. As an Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the compliance of our clients' management systems with international standards such as ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and EMAS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, conduct, and lead audits at our clients' sites, ensuring compliance with the above-mentioned standards.
  • Evaluate the conformity of our clients' management systems in relation to environmental, safety, and energy aspects.
  • Prepare detailed audit documentation and reports.
  • Develop and maintain a strong client base, working closely with our sales team to acquire new clients.
  • Take on project leadership roles, create calculations, and support strategic and operational market development.
Requirements
  • A degree in a technical field or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant work experience in environmental, safety, and energy management.
  • Professional certification as an Auditor for ISO 14001 and/or ISO 50001, and/or EMAS would be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work with clients at all levels.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in German would be an advantage.
