Auditor for Environmental and Energy Management

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Auditor for Environmental and Energy Management to join our team at TÜV NORD CERT GmbH. As an Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting audits for customers based on ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and possibly EMAS standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, conduct, or lead audits for customers to ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and energy regulations
  • Evaluate customers' management systems to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Develop and maintain detailed audit documentation to support customer relationships and business growth
  • Manage and develop customer relationships, supporting sales efforts to acquire new customers
  • Take on technical project management tasks, create cost calculations, and support strategic and operational market activities

Requirements:

  • Technical degree in engineering, natural sciences, or a related field
  • Minimum four years of relevant experience in occupational health, environmental, and possibly energy management
  • Preferably certified Auditor for ISO 14001 and/or ISO 50001, possibly EMAS Assessor
  • Entrepreneurial thinking, analytical, structured, independent work style
  • Customer orientation, communication skills, leadership experience
  • Valid driver's license, good English skills, willingness to travel extensively
