As a Dangerous Goods Officer at Alfred Kärcher SE & Co. KG, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe transportation of hazardous materials. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and implementing global standards for dangerous goods management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise colleagues on dangerous goods regulations and monitor compliance with ADR/RID/ADN/IATA standards.
  • Prepare annual reports and take immediate action in case of accidents or non-compliance.
  • Train and instruct employees on relevant changes in dangerous goods legislation.
  • Collaborate with international subsidiaries to establish a group-wide global dangerous goods organization.
Requirements:
  • Completed technical or commercial studies (e.g., chemistry, technical business administration, economics) or comparable qualification.
  • Several years of relevant work experience is an advantage.
  • Valid training as a dangerous goods officer for road, rail, sea, and inland waterways, as well as an IATA training certificate, would be desirable.
  • Knowledge of dangerous goods legislation GGVSEB, GbV, ADR/RID, ADN, GGVSee, IMDG-Code, IATA-DGR, and related legal areas.
  • Business fluent in German and English, additional language skills are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approximately per year).
  • Confident communication skills, team player, and ability to take on responsibility.
