Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a global dangerous goods organization, providing expertise as a Dangerous Goods Officer (GbV).
  • Advise colleagues on transport regulations (ADR/RID/ADN/IATA) and monitor compliance, preparing annual reports.
  • Respond to accidents, malfunctions, or infringements, documenting incidents comprehensively.
  • Train and instruct employees on relevant changes in dangerous goods legislation.

Requirements:

  • Completed technical or commercial studies (e.g., chemistry, technical business administration, economics) or comparable qualification.
  • Several years of relevant work experience is an advantage.
  • Valid training as a dangerous goods officer for road (optional: rail), sea, and inland waterways, as well as an IATA training certificate, would be desirable.
  • Familiarity with dangerous goods legislation (GGVSEB, GbV, ADR/RID, ADN, GGVSee, IMDG-Code, IATA-DGR) and related legal areas.
  • Business fluent in German and English, additional language skills are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approximately per year).
  • Team player with excellent communication skills, reliability, and a willingness to take on responsibility.
