Job Title: Legal Counsel for EMEAI Region
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Legal Counsel to join our EMEAI team at Tektronix. As a Legal Counsel, you will play a critical role in supporting the Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India regions by providing legal guidance and support in contracting processes, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with other functional groups to drive negotiations to closure and successfully support business objectives requiring legal guidance and support in contracting processes.
- Work on a wide range of legal topics, including compliance, intellectual property, employment, data privacy, and more.
- Negotiate and draft various contracts, tender documentation, and RFQs for both public and commercial sectors in a broad range of industries.
- Drive improved processes to scale efficiencies in the legal support of go-to-market solutions.
- Consult on various legal topics, including competition, GDPR, and upgrade and harmonization of standard documents.
- Assist EMEAI regions with compliance issues and provide ethics and compliance support.
- Active participation in global Legal Department teamwork and in the digitalization of legal activities.
- Communicate regularly with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, Operations, and more.
- Contribute to process improvement projects and implementation of new policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- German-qualified lawyer, preferably German Bar.
- ~3 to 5 years of practice, including recent and relevant contract negotiation experience.
- ~ German and English language skills (Advanced/Business proficiency).
- Culturally savvy and able to work effectively in a global environment and across numerous legal systems.
- Additional language skills (French, Italian, etc.).
