Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the IT Business Partnering team at Heraeus, reporting to the IT Head of Business & Regions.
  • Deliver the IT Strategy, focusing on strategic and value-oriented business and IT alignment.
  • Develop a holistic view of IT business partner practices, emphasizing cross-business alignment and synergies.
  • Lead by example as the IT Business Partner of one of Heraeus' Operating Companies (OpCo).
  • Participate in the OpCo's extended management team, interacting with senior business managers and developing integrated IT strategies.
  • Establish effective business stakeholder management, becoming the OpCo's trusted advisor for digitalization and IT matters.
  • Align with IT counterparts, ensuring a solid understanding of business goals and IT execution according to business priorities.
  • Manage the OpCo's IT budget and track performance, ensuring consistent value generation from key platforms and programs.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in a similar role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A business-minded IT professional with a strong understanding of how IT drives business value.
  • Essential methods for the role, including enterprise architecture, project execution, communication, presentation skills, and change management.
  • Experience in international projects or an international working environment.
  • Ability to balance long-term strategic views with short/mid-term operational necessities.
  • Fluent in English and German, spoken and written.
