Senior Customer Information Security Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Customer Information Security Advisor to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our Customer Information Security Advisory Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Customer Success colleagues and providing expert advice on security compliance related topics to close customer deals successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with our Customer Success, different Lines of Business, and Legal departments to provide guidance on cloud deals and regulatory requirements.
- Act as the customer contact for discussions and negotiations pertaining to Cloud Solutions, ensuring seamless execution and compliance.
- Develop and maintain a solid knowledge base in security and compliance topics, including data protection and industry-specific compliance obligations, to support customer queries and contract negotiations.
- Support the security and compliance governance efforts, including reporting on customer commitments made, on status of identified KPIs; and (where appropriate) highlighting risks to management.
- Interact with various internal departments as a liaison related Security compliance topics, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business Economics, Business Informatics, Law, Business Law, Computer Science, Information Security, or Cyber Security.
- 3-5 years of experience in security compliance, customer success, or legal roles, ideally situated within the financial services sector.
- Proficiency in global security compliance and/or financial services regulatory requirements such as DORA, EBA Guideline or similar.
- Experience in supporting and advising on the implementation of security compliance measures and requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to be a customer point of contact and internal liaison for various departments.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is a mandatory requirement for the role.
