Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with national and international accounting standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee internal and external reporting, providing accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders.
  • Monitor financial accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Develop and implement effective cash management and liquidity planning strategies to ensure the company's financial stability.
  • Lead project controlling, pre- and post-calculations, and business intelligence reporting, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and special business evaluations, analyzing financial data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Manage, motivate, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Optimize and further develop business processes within the company, streamlining operations and improving efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for auditors, tax consultants, banks, and insurance companies, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Commercial training with further training as an accountant (m/f/d) and/or a degree in business administration, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
  • Several years of experience in a comparable area of responsibility, ideally in an international production/industrial environment, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent knowledge of preparing annual financial statements, financial, and controlling reporting, with the ability to analyze complex financial data.
  • Independent, systematic, and analytical way of working, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Team player with excellent leadership and motivational skills, able to inspire and develop a high-performing finance team.
  • High level of commitment and flexibility, with a strong work ethic and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficient in ERP and MS Office skills, with a strong understanding of financial software and systems.
  • Business fluent in English and German, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
