Contract Manager

Vestas is seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team in Hamburg, Germany. As a Contract Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring a high-quality customer experience and professional contract management.
Responsibilities:- Support the Service team in interpreting contracts, providing summaries, and drafting routine notices and communications.
- Review incoming communications from customers and contractors, and coordinate with the Service team to resolve claims and disputes.
- Maintain an overview of claims, coordinate evaluation and resolution with other departments, and support negotiation and drafting of settlement agreements.
- Work closely with the Vestas Legal department and support the Service team in contract management.
- Demonstrated contract and claims management experience with in-depth knowledge of preparing claim correspondence.
- Significant experience in wind or heavy construction industries, ideally as a contract and claims manager.
- Commercial awareness and acumen, with a broad knowledge of contract types and structures in the construction and energy industries.
- Professional qualifications or relevant academic qualifications desirable.
- Substantial negotiation and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and significant organization skills.
- Independent person, able to organize own workload with minimal supervision.
- Understanding of cultural differences in an international and geographically diverse organization.
- Accurate and pragmatic approach to contract management and enforcement.
- Positive attitude and genuine interest in process improvements.
