Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced R&D Project Manager to join our team at Novanta. As a key member of our R&D department, you will be responsible for managing the development of disposable products from concept to launch. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the growth and success of our company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the development of disposable products, including NPI (New Product Introduction) and project planning.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Purchasing, Service, Production, QM, Manufacturing Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, and PM.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and ensure timely delivery of mandatory documents for each project phase.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and escalate critical project parameters to the program manager and superiors.
  • Develop and maintain technical product documentation, and ensure internal and external communication flow.
  • Support the recruitment process and contribute to the improvement of project management at Novanta.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in R&D project management, preferably in medical devices or disposables.
  • Disposables product knowledge and experience with classical and agile project management.
  • Proficient with common project management tools, such as MS Project, MS Azure, or similar.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and SharePoint.
  • Official project management certification beneficial (such as PMP, IPMA, or Prince2).
  • Very good/fluent English language skill is mandatory, German GER C1 is a bonus.
