About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at FERCHAU Automotive GmbH. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading projects in the automotive development sector, focusing on electric mobility and alternative propulsion systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the development of vehicle components, including conventional and alternative propulsion systems
  • Coordinate the entire development process, considering all aspects of product creation and production
  • Oversee the development and construction of modules and components, ensuring compliance with manufacturing, assembly, functionality, quality, and cost requirements
  • Collaborate closely with the project team and coordinate tasks effectively
  • Supervise external service providers and suppliers
  • Present project results and represent the team in various forums, including change and release management

Requirements

  • A degree in engineering, technology, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in the automotive industry, with a strong understanding of the development process
  • Proficiency in CAD tools, such as Creo, CATIA, and/or Siemens NX
  • Experience in module and component development, as well as system integration
  • Project management experience, with the ability to lead teams and coordinate tasks
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork
  • Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
