Job Summary

Vestas, the global leader in wind turbine manufacturing, is seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager to oversee the entire sales cycle, from prospect identification and tendering to negotiating and closing wind farm supply contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the sales cycle, including prospect identification, tendering, and deal optimization
  • Establish strong customer relationships, build trust, and understand customers' business cases to develop ideal value propositions
  • Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration within a matrix organization and across group functions
  • Monitor and assess market trends and customer/competitor activities
  • Handle internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of Vestas' commercial strategy

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent
  • Solid experience in sales, commercial sales, or business development, with a proven history in the renewable energy or other project sector
  • Contract negotiation skills and experience with complex technical contracts
  • Ability to identify and involve business stakeholders
  • Fluent in German and English
