Job Description:

We are seeking a Corporate Department Manager GMP-Compliance, Qualification & Validation to lead our Q&V team in a country-wide coordination and strategic management role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • International organization of the GMP-Compliance, Qualification & Validation department at VTU
  • Leadership of the Q&V team in a matrix organization for a team of over 100 international employees
  • Operational and strategic driving of further developments and ensuring compliance with VTU-wide standards
  • Close internal coordination with various disciplines and external coordination with customers
  • Observation of market trends, customer wishes, and awareness of industry developments
  • Significant contribution to the development of our product portfolio and close exchange with our Sales department
  • Creation of publications and presentations at international congresses and conferences
  • Representation of VTU at GMP-relevant committees and organizations (ISPE, etc.)

Requirements:

  • Completed engineering degree in a field such as process engineering, chemistry, pharmacy, biotechnology, or similar technical education
  • Several years of experience in the qualification and validation of pharmaceutical plants and in the medical device industry
  • High expertise in the field of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and CSV (Computer System Validation)
  • Fundamental knowledge of national and international GMP regulations
  • Experience in leadership and management, as well as entrepreneurial and strategic thinking to implement change processes
  • Strong communication skills, confident and professional appearance with persuasion and assertiveness
  • High flexibility and willingness to travel (DACH region)
  • Fluent German and English language skills
