About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Siemens Energy as a Field Engineer, where you will be responsible for performing high voltage testing on large generators worldwide.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and perform various electrical tests on generator windings and stator core, including dielectric standstill diagnostics, 500Hz stator core loop tests, and high voltage tests.
- Perform fact-finding activities and robotic inspections on generator components during service outages.
- Carry out troubleshooting, analyze customer problems, and implement remedial measures.
- Compile records and reports to document the condition of the equipment.
- Prepare and complete tests to prove operational readiness.
What You Bring
- Bachelor/Master of Engineering (Electrical or related field); fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
- Willingness to expand knowledge of turbo generator design and technologies.
- Understanding of technical equipment, ability to work with technical documentation, and knowledge of general power plant technology.
- Experience in power plant operations and maintenance; Siemens Energy Generator operations and maintenance know-how advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills, affinity for technology and innovation, proactive and convincing attitude.
