Agile Service Development Product Owner

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to join our Agile Service Development team at Philips. As a Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in defining the product vision, managing the product backlog, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality features in alignment with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to and review program vision, roadmap, and content presentations
  • Prepare and participate in release planning, contribute to program increment planning, program backlog refinement, and preparation/prioritization of portfolio backlogs
  • Define iterations and stories for the team(s), build, edit, review, and reprioritize the team(s) backlog, coordinating dependencies with other POs
  • Maintain the story flow, possibly embedded in the agile team(s)
  • Define stories and provide input for user story details and priorities, establish story acceptance criteria, accept stories into the baseline/the final iteration plan
  • Support team(s) with their story estimates and sequencing
  • Facilitate and lead refinement sessions
  • Know the customers well and use that knowledge in the role
  • Take data-driven decisions
  • May define functional and non-functional requirements as well as the user interface
  • Identify gaps between current system and client/market needs
  • Coordinate with other product owners on content dependencies
  • Manage content deliverables and dependencies to external suppliers
  • Facilitate inter-team dependencies in the respective iterations
  • Participate in team demo and retrospectives
  • Work with other product owners to produce the system demo, deliver system demo for his scope to the business owner and product management team
  • May ensure validation of the system with the client
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a business or technical field, with at least 5 years of experience in Customer Support
  • Proven experience in product support and product life cycle processes
  • Understands support requirements from a customer point of view
  • Understands Service Level objectives and how to translate them into tangible requirements for a support service offering
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and experience working in Agile teams
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to translate business needs into detailed product requirements
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver products on time and within scope
  • Can communicate effectively also in large groups to work towards a shared objective
  • Used to work within an ITIL process framework (preferably ITIL practitioner)
  • Experience in LEAN methodology and Change Management
  • Exhibit the technical knowledge to review and evaluate service requirements and design documentation
  • Fluent in the English language
