Global Commodity Procurement Manager

As a Global Commodity Procurement Manager for Nordex Group, you will be responsible for the global procurement and negotiation of hybrid towers for any Nordex project. This role requires a strategic understanding of company needs and the ability to ensure best-in-class management of the supply chain to achieve the best possible agreements with suppliers.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Procure and negotiate hybrid towers globally
  • Maintain, develop, and own commercial relationships with global suppliers of hybrid towers
  • Coordinate and manage sourcing/procurement tasks for new tower developments of hybrid towers
  • Manage risks and report on project risks
  • Develop strategic partnership agreements to guarantee best competitive terms and conditions with the supply chain
  • Fulfill budgets and improve profit regarding hybrid towers

Your Profile

  • Technical background with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical, industrial, or economical engineering
  • Several years of professional experience in comparable positions/tasks
  • Good knowledge of project and procurement management methods
  • Experience in contract management
  • Fluent English and German language
  • Convincing manner towards external and internal parties
  • Experience working in a matrix organization of an international company
