Job Title: Train Radio System Engineer

Alstom is seeking a skilled Train Radio System Engineer to join our team in Hennigsdorf, Germany. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the functional, performance, transverse, and train-level requirements of the ATP and Train Radio subsystems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and implement functional, performance, transverse, and train-level requirements of the ATP and Train Radio subsystems.
  • Integrate the subsystem into the train (mechanically and electrically).
  • Define the interface (mechanical and electrical) for the dedicated subsystem.
  • Verify the subsystem (focus on train level) including design reviews.
  • Manage change and configuration management process for the subsystem on train level.
  • Control changes after design changes including impact analysis.
  • Plan and follow up on all activities linked to the subsystem.
  • Support sourcing, suppliers, PUs, S&A Engineers, Interior engineers, RAMS engineers, and validation engineers.
Requirements:
  • Understanding of railway and some years of experience in this area.
  • Knowledge of the different ATP systems, especially ETCS.
  • Basic understanding of an ATO system.
