Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our team in Germany. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring and growing our most important client accounts in the Industrial Automation market/ecosystem in the DACH region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients and the company.
  • Resolve key client issues and complaints.
  • Develop a complete understanding of key account needs.
  • Anticipate key account changes and improvements.
  • Manage communications between key clients and internal teams.
  • Strategic planning to improve client results.
  • Negotiate contracts with the client and establish a timeline of performance.
  • Plan and present reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or company training.
  • Meet all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines.
  • Analyze client data to provide customer relationship management.
  • Expand relationships and bring in new clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, or relevant technical field (engineering); Master's degree preferred.
  • Four to five years' previous work experience in sales of networking and computing solutions towards the Industrial Automation ecosystem.
  • Fluent in German and English. Other European languages is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person.
  • Able to multitask and manage more than one client account, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Goal-oriented and an organized team player.
  • Encouraging to team and staff; able to mentor and lead.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed.
  • In-depth understanding of company key clients and their position in the industry.
  • Eager to expand the company with new sales, clients, and territories.
  • Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with ability follow-through on client contracts.
  • Proven results of delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals.
