Product Manager Battery Energy Storage Systems

Product Manager (m/f/x) Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

Exide Technologies GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our Energy Solutions division in Büdingen, Germany. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of our Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) product line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the BESS product roadmap, ensuring alignment with market requirements and company goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Sales, and Marketing, to ensure a cohesive product strategy.
  • Monitor market trends, technical developments, and innovation in the ESS industry to define and guide R&D on future product development.
  • Manage product certifications and adjustments to regional specific requirements.
  • Provide technical support to the sales team for product information, customer training, and technical data sheet analyses.
  • Prioritize sales projects to be supported by R&D.
  • Organize product launch programs and coordinate product information with our communication teams.
  • Support pre-sales and project technical analyses.

Requirements:

  • University degree in a technical/engineering field.
  • A specialization or training in energy or renewable energy is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product management positions, with a strong desire and eagerness to be engaged in battery technologies on a technical level.
  • Recognized for communication skills, with the ability to work closely with different functions.
  • Proven track record of dealing with customers and committed to developing collaborative relationships to deliver results.
  • Proficient written and spoken English and German skills.
