At Knigges Kindergartensprachschule®, we are dedicated to providing children aged 3-6 with immersive language experiences through engaging, play-based methodologies. As a freelance English language educator, you will have the chance to create and implement captivating lessons conducted entirely in English, fostering a joyful and comprehensive language learning environment for our young learners.

We are looking for individuals who naturally connect with children and possess both experience and a sincere enthusiasm for early childhood education. Reliability, adaptability, and a willingness to explore innovative teaching strategies are essential. Fluency in English at a near-native level, along with the ability to communicate effectively with children in their native German, is a must.

Ideal candidates will be capable of managing small groups of up to 8 children, delivering effective language instruction characterized by diverse teaching techniques and, most importantly, a fun atmosphere. Applicants should hold a valid work and residence permit for Germany, have a clean criminal record, and possess liability insurance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing interactive and engaging lesson plans
  • Conducting educational sessions in a kindergarten setting
  • Facilitating clear communication between yourself (English) and the children (German)
Requirements:
  • Experience with children aged 3-6
  • Dependability and flexibility
  • Near-native proficiency in English
  • Understanding of second language acquisition principles
  • Capability to conduct effective language courses for small groups
Additional Requirements:
  • A valid work and residence permit for Germany
  • Clean criminal record
  • Liability insurance
  • Ability to respond to children's native language

Prior to your first engagement, we will require:

  • Current certificate of good conduct
  • Recent photograph
  • Verification documents

**MEASLES VACCINATION DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED**

  • Alternative government-issued proof of immunity
