At Knigges Kindergartensprachschule®, we are dedicated to providing immersive language experiences for children aged 3-6 through engaging, play-based methodologies. As a freelance English language educator, you will have the chance to create and implement dynamic lessons conducted entirely in English, fostering a joyful and comprehensive language learning environment for our young learners.

To thrive in this position, we seek individuals who naturally connect with children and possess both relevant experience and a sincere enthusiasm for early childhood education. Reliability, adaptability, and an openness to innovative teaching strategies are essential. Fluency in English at a near-native level, along with the ability to communicate effectively with children in their native German, is a requirement.

We are looking for candidates capable of managing small groups of up to 8 children, delivering impactful language courses characterized by diverse teaching techniques and, most importantly, an enjoyable atmosphere. If you hold a valid work and residence permit for Germany, maintain a clean criminal record, and possess liability insurance, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creating interactive and captivating lesson plans
  • Conducting educational sessions in a kindergarten setting
  • Facilitating effective communication between you (English) and the children (German)
Requirements:
  • Experience with children aged 3-6
  • Dependability and flexibility
  • Near-native proficiency in English
  • Understanding of second language acquisition principles
  • Ability to conduct engaging language courses for small groups
Additional Requirements:
  • A valid work and residence permit for Germany
  • Clean criminal record
  • Liability insurance
  • Proficiency in responding to children's native language

Prior to your initial assignment, the following documentation will be required:

  • Current certificate of good conduct
  • Recent photograph
  • Verification documents

**MANDATORY MEASLES VACCINATION DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED**

In compliance with the Masernschutzgesetz, verification of your immunity against measles is necessary. You must provide documentation showing either:

  • Blood test or International certificate of vaccination
  • Doctor's statement if there is a contraindication
  • Alternative government-issued proof of immunity
