At Knigges Kindergartensprachschule®, we are dedicated to providing children aged 3-6 with an immersive language experience through engaging and playful methods. As a freelance English language educator, you will have the chance to create and implement captivating lessons conducted entirely in English, fostering a joyful environment for language acquisition.

To thrive in this position, we seek individuals who naturally connect with young learners and possess both experience and enthusiasm for teaching. Reliability, adaptability, and an openness to innovative teaching strategies are essential. Fluency in English at a near-native level, along with the ability to communicate effectively with children in their native German, is a must.

We are looking for candidates who can manage small groups of up to 8 children, delivering effective language courses that incorporate diverse teaching techniques while ensuring a fun atmosphere. If you hold a valid work and residence permit for Germany, have a clean criminal record, and possess liability insurance, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing interactive and engaging lesson plans
  • Conducting lessons in a kindergarten setting
  • Facilitating communication between yourself (English) and the children (German)
Requirements:
  • Experience with children aged 3-6
  • Dependability and flexibility
  • Near-native proficiency in English
  • Understanding of second language acquisition principles
  • Capability to conduct effective language sessions for small groups
Additional Requirements:
  • A valid work and residence permit for Germany
  • Clean criminal record
  • Liability insurance
  • Ability to respond to children's native language

Prior to your first assignment, we will require:

  • Current certificate of good conduct
  • Recent photograph
  • Verification documents

**MEASLES VACCINATION DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED**

  • Blood test or International vaccination certificate
  • Doctor's statement if there is a contraindication
  • Alternative government-issued proof of immunity
