About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our European team in Eschborn office. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing customer relationships within the region, coordinating activities between Huawei and the customer.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Account Management: Demonstrate proficiency in account management skills, including forecasting, C-level engagement, ROI analysis, account penetration, planning, mapping, power-based selling, negotiation, and excellent presentation skills.
  2. Customer Relationship Management: Manage and enhance customer relationships within the region, coordinating activities between Huawei and the customer.
  3. Opportunity Identification and Development: Identify, develop, and close opportunities within the transportation vertical.
  4. Business Development: Understand customer needs and identify new business opportunities within the region.
  5. Sales and Marketing Management: Take ownership of the management of the sales and marketing functions of the business account.
  6. Revenue Growth: Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve the Company's ambitious growth.
  7. Market Penetration: Plan and coordinate the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new markets.
  8. Market Branding: Plan and support market branding actions in the enterprise area, attend industry events related to technology forums and industry presentations.
  9. Resource Coordination: Coordinate internal resources, such as Pre-Sales and Channel Sales teams.
  10. Competitor Analysis: Track potential competitors, developing alternative strategies.
Requirements
  1. ICT Sales Experience: At least 3 years of ICT account sales experience.
  2. Technical Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of IP networking in at least one of the following areas of specialization: Data Center, LAN Switching, Routing, and Security.
  3. Customer Experience: Experience in working with customers, including C-level, IT and procurement departments as well as project teams.
  4. Senior Management Alignment: Experience in working with senior management to align sales strategies and solutions.
  5. Negotiation and Sales Skills: Excellent negotiation skills, proven track record of successfully pitching for new business.
  6. Revenue Generation: Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads.
  7. Language Skills: Fluent in German and English.
  8. Transportation Vertical Experience: Experience within the transportation vertical would be an advantage.
