Strategic Energy Portfolio Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Energy Portfolio Manager to join our team at E Energy Markets GmbH.
Key Responsibilities- Market Analysis: Deliver in-depth analysis of the price and fundamental development of the global commodity markets to provide insights on future movements of price levels and spreads in the European commodity markets.
- Commercial Strategy Development: Closely cooperate with Trading & Origination and Portfolio functions on developing and implementing commercial strategies.
- Customer Portfolio Management: Lead initiatives to build and mature a large, international energy customer portfolio as part of E Energy Markets GmbH.
- Trading Opportunities Identification: Analyze energy market data to identify high-level trading opportunities, including managing E Energy Markets GmbH's group portfolio (>200 TWh power & gas) through strategic hedging decisions and open position management in forward markets with a focus on long- and midterm portfolio strategies.
- Trading Model Development: Take a leading role in the development of sophisticated trading models and strategies.
- Reporting and Presentations: Prepare detailed reports on trading performance and market analysis and present these to senior stakeholders, including traders and board members.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills in combination with assertiveness and engagement.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge in Python is a plus.
- Language Skills: Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English, another European language is seen as a plus.
