Strategic Energy Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Energy Manager to join our team at E.ON Energy Markets GmbH in Essen.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver in-depth analysis of global commodity markets to provide insights on future price movements and spreads in European markets.
- Lead initiatives to build and mature a large international energy customer portfolio as part of E.ON's group portfolio.
- Analyze energy market data to identify high-level trading opportunities, including strategic hedging decisions and open position management in forward markets.
- Manage E.ON's group portfolio (>200 TWh power & gas) through long- and midterm portfolio strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and optimize market performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of Python programming language is a plus.
- Fluency in English, with another European language seen as a plus.
