Procurement Project Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled Procurement Project Manager to join our team at Alstom, a leading company in the rail industry. As a Procurement Project Manager, you will play a key role in executing, monitoring, and optimizing material budgets for our bogie projects.
Your Key Responsibilities- Execute and monitor material budgets, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Establish and manage procurement schedules, ensuring timely delivery of technical requirements documents and drawings.
- Coordinate between project and procurement teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Provide input on project-specific terms and conditions, working closely with buyers.
- Drive make-or-buy decisions, considering overall strategy and supplier input.
- Coordinate project-related material cost reduction activities.
- Manage supplier documentation, ensuring requirements are met and executed effectively.
- Ensure dual sourcing activities are aligned with project teams and implemented correctly.
- Facilitate contact with suppliers to support the parts approval process.
- Align project sourcing plans with global commodity management strategies.
- University of Applied Science degree (engineer or commercial) or comparable.
- Technical knowledge and expertise.
- Strong personal responsibility and willingness to travel.
- Ability to communicate in German and English.
- Good knowledge of MS-Excel and Power Point, with SAP knowledge a plus.
