About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled PAS Lead Engineer to join our team at Emerson. As a key member of our Project Management team, you will be responsible for delivering a portfolio of projects using our global resources and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Project Lead or Manager in understanding and managing customer expectations, as well as coordinating with other parties, including product vendors, sub-contractors, and Emerson teams.
  • Take ownership of engineering activities on allocated work, applying methodologies and resources to minimize execution costs while maintaining schedule and quality standards.
  • Develop and provide project schedules, resource requirements, progress, and risk information to stakeholders.
  • Act as the first point of contact for technical customer communication and ensure team members are informed of necessary information.
  • Support procurement lists, including detailed specifications for sub-contracted works and services.
  • Ensure engineering activities are delivered to quality, budget, and schedule standards, and that the Project Lead or Manager is informed of any customer-initiated changes in scope.
  • Verify that engineering activities are undertaken in accordance with our quality control processes and adhere to company and customer HSEQ standards.
  • Contribute to creating an inclusive and encouraging project team environment and support team members in achieving personal development objectives.
  • Actively contribute to bid activities to ensure customer requirements are understood and innovative solutions are proposed.
Requirements
  • State-certified technician with vocational training in electronics or automation technology.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience with a proven record of handling system design, implementation, and factory/site acceptance test phases of projects.
  • Ability to work independently and within defined timelines.
  • Extensive experience with direct customer contact and managing expectations.
  • Valid driving license for cars.
  • Local language skills with proficient English (verbal and written).
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
