We are seeking a highly skilled PAS Lead Engineer to join our team at Emerson. As a key member of our Project Management team, you will be responsible for delivering a portfolio of projects using our global resources and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Project Lead or Manager in understanding and managing customer expectations, as well as coordinating with other parties such as product vendors, sub-contractors, and Emerson teams.
- Take ownership of engineering activities on allocated work, applying methodologies and resources to minimize execution costs while maintaining schedule and quality standards.
- Develop and provide project schedules, resource requirements, progress, and risk information to stakeholders.
- Act as the first point of contact for technical communication with customers and ensure team members are provided with necessary information.
- Support procurement lists, including detailed specifications for sub-contracted works and services.
- Ensure engineering activities are delivered to quality, budget, and schedule standards, and that the Project Lead or Manager is informed of any customer-initiated changes in scope.
- Verify that engineering activities are undertaken in accordance with our quality control processes and that relevant standards are achieved.
- Support the creation of an inclusive and encouraging project environment and contribute to team members' personal development objectives.
- Contribute to bid activities to ensure customer requirements are understood and innovative solutions are proposed.
- Acquire, maintain, and share knowledge and experience with the engineering team and wider organization.
- State-certified technician with vocational training in electronics or automation technology.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience with a proven record of handling system design, implementation, and factory/site acceptance test phases of projects.
- Ability to work independently and within defined timelines.
- Extensive experience with direct customer contact and managing expectations.
- Valid driving license for cars.
- Local language skills with proficient English (verbal and written).
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Familiarity with DeltaV.
