Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated student assistant to join our sustainability management team at enercity. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful work that promotes environmental responsibility and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Collection and Analysis: Assist in gathering and analyzing data for sustainability reports.
  • Document and Presentation Creation: Help in the development and updating of essential sustainability documents and engaging presentations.
  • Project Planning and Execution: Participate in the planning and implementation of innovative sustainability projects and initiatives.
  • Communication Development: Contribute to both internal and external communications regarding sustainability topics.
  • Workshop and Training Preparation: Prepare materials for workshops and training sessions focused on sustainability.
  • Progress Monitoring: Aid in tracking and reporting on sustainability objectives.
  • Industry Analysis: Generate benchmarks and analyses relevant to the sustainability sector.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to promote collaboration.
  • Research and Presentation: Investigate current sustainability and societal issues and present findings effectively.
  • Daily Operations Support: Provide operational support for daily tasks and assist the team actively.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business Administration, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability Management, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) issues.
  • Previous experience in sustainability or project management is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with common standards and requirements (e.g., GRI, CSRD, ESRS) is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of BI tools and specialized sustainability software is beneficial.
  • Highly organized, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Open-minded, communicative, and team-oriented.
  • Fluent in German and proficient in English.
